Soba milling vice's?
I just traded for several Soba vices. I can find no info on these. One of them I was told was a prabellum vice used to mount odd shaped objects on the mill. They are made in India I believe at least that's whats on the crate. I will be selling or trading them only after I know something about them. ...

Richard thats what I have. I knew I would have do some work with the grinder. I sharpened one today and used it and it worked fine on cols rolled.

Parallels for parting and grooving?
Can you use old parallels for parting and grooving? I have a few laying around and it seemed like a good idea. But fishing with dynamite seemed like a good idea to someone also.

Is it binding up? I had an issue with mine and it was the keyway in the tailstock pulling back binding the dial and the screw up also.

Thats a good idea.it beats the heck out of spraying it with WD and then having to clean it up when you need it. Will shelf life be an issue?

I have a miller spectrum that I use only when I have to. The consumables are so expensive it's scary. I even try not to use it cutting non ferrous metal.
