I think I actually figured out that it is a W.F & John Barnes lathe.

Does anyone sell parts for these .... :(

Or would I be better off selling it for parts and buying something "newer"

Help Identifying a Lathe

My father gave me a lathe that I would like to try to identify. There are few markings on it. The bed has a "Pat Feb 15 1887" on it. The crossfeed has a "36" on it and possibly an inverted "MIAA" on the cross-slide. The paint is a bit heavy to make it out for sure. The crossfeed table is missing the...

I have a couple of titanium knife components that I'd like to have cut with a wire EDM. I can cut and stack my .045 titanium plate to yield a thickness of about 0.72" to make it easier to cut.
