Pantograph

Does anybody make either a double arm pantograph (stemmann) like on a GG1 or a single arm (faiveley) like on an E44? Considering an E44 project in 1.5 scale.

CNJ DRX 6-4-2000

I'm doing some "what if" thinking. Does anyone know a source for Baldwin construction plans for the CNJ DRX 6-4-2000 double cab locomotive? It would be a very unique project locomotive. All I've been able to find are some limited view photographs.

PRR E44

Has anyone thought of building a PRR E44 electric locomotive? Just thinking of something that nobody but a PRR fan would want.

Re: Looking for info about high-speed caboose trucks

I have a pair of what you are looking for under my caboose. They were made by the then Mountain Car Company. I have not seen them for sale for some many years though. You could try contacting them to see if they are still available.

Integral Circuits

What has happened to the business "Integral Circuits"? They were building an interesting product, but their web page now says "Business has been temporarily suspended". I was interested in purchasing one of their newer products in development, but now I have questions.

I saw an ad for MU plugs for on Locomotives some days back but now can't find it. Think it was from RRS but can't find it on their page. Any help? Thanks

Re: New Railroad Supply Catalog Now Available

Will the online version contain more information about the passenger cars and diesel locomotives including prices. The current online version only emphasizes the steam area. Very little is mentioned about the cars or diesels.

Re: Electric Engine Controllers

http://www.integralcircuits.com/index.html They make just what you are looking for if the current isn't too big. The current limit for their largest unit is 150 amps. If you are using only one motor drawing over that limit you can try 4QD. If you are using multiple motors per engine you are in busin...

Re: Semaphores explained?

Check with Pennsylvania Live Steamers. They have very good looking semaphores on their layout and they don't look too large or complex. http://www.palivesteamers.org/
