Where can I buy this thread checker
I came across this today at a friends shop....and have seen these at some hardware stores to use as a tool to check threads. Anyone know where to buy one of these like this? I was told Harbor Freight but dont see it there online. Anyone have one of these? https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4596/25658566...

Re: Bridgeport Power Feed
Going back to John Evans comment....these units are not a direct bolt in place unit. I see that now. You actually have to change the lead screw. So there is a hidden cost involved with this that looks to be about $200 to $300 additional to do that. So I will need to rethink if I want to go thru all ...

Bridgeport Power Feed
I came across one of these this week....didnt realize Bridgeport made these in the past. Anyone have one of these? Good experience? Bad experience? I would rather buy one of these used than the current China made ones I see sold thru most outlets.....unless I hear otherwise. Thanks for input. http:/...

Re: Bijur Oiling System - parts source?
Ok, good to know on Fluid Line Systems...
I just got off the phone with H&W Machine Repair and they seem to have everything I need. Shipping out today so I can confirm next week. Total parts about $25. Pretty happy with that.

Re: Bijur Oiling System - parts source?
Ok....thanks guys. I am going to contact Emerick and Machinery Parts Depot and report back the results. I have to say, this is one of the easiest problems to fix that has become complicated for no reason. Never figured that this would be so hard to find parts or that they would be special fittings l...

Re: Bijur Oiling System - parts source?
Ok...thanks. Yes this metering unit has a FJB 1 stamped on the outside. I assume this is to control the flow in one direction. McMaster Carr is a good idea...however I do not know what size these fittings and lines are. The fitting especially doesnt seem to be something standard I have found locally...

Bijur Oiling System - parts source?
I am currently trying to get some much needed maintenance done on my Bridgeport mill. As part of that want to fix and replace one of the lines on the Bijur oiling system. I have a compression fitting missing and want to replace the plastic lines. Cant match up the fitting or lines anywhere local yet...

Re: Gap Bed Lathe
Rocking horse poop, thats funny. I like that. I suppose he has already tried to find the missing piece to his lathe, correct? Russ...yes, I could possibly be interested, but for me like probably everyone else its all a question of floor space. It all depends how much space the lathe takes up and I c...

Re: Gap Bed Lathe
Yep, thats the exact 100% machine I have. Identical. I will be selling this machine as soon as I get a gap bed lathe. So anyone else can comment if I can find a good American made gap bed lathe out there??? Thats really what I am trying to figure out. I already know the machine I have....what I dont...

Re: Gap Bed Lathe
Actually center to center its 36 inches. I think thats why they have the model number 5936. Either way, I am looking for a gap bed lathe now....does need to be the same size and could be a smaller size if needed. Im just more curious if its an import that I need to buy at this point to have that fea...
