Not speaking from experience but think they are for holding say thin pieces for milling on edge.As you tighten the vise wavy will still hold up the thin part but will compress as jaws close.

Never heard of Dickson so I had to google it and I see that they are very well made,if it was the same size as BXA I be all over it.But I better stick with something around the BXA size.

Guys it looks like that maybe a coolant system is not right for me but the squirt bottles and wash down bottles are.Wanting to work Stainless I was thinking that maybe coolant system would help with prevent case hardening and help increasing tool life.I also see that some looks like they using nothi...
