building rail cars

Anyone out there have plans for building rail cars. I would like to build a working hopper, caboose, and tank car. Just looking for tips as well.

"The train guy" Thanks for the pictures I like your idea of riding behind rather than on the Goose. I will do the same as well. I want to be able to pull with it as well. Thanks for the info. I hope to finish my design soon. Harlock thanks for the link I can use all the help I can get.

Littleevan99, How is Clishay coming along? I have wanted to build it since I was 15 but at 41 I just bought the book last month. I'm going to build a Galloping Goose #2 first with electric motors so I have something I can ride quickly. I'm still in the design stage on the goose but should be cutting...

Thanks Brian for the info and anyting else you think of would be great. Do you have pictures of the three truck goose? I was thinking of make the #7 goose but wanted to start smaller with the #2.

I am looking into building the Galloping goose #2 using Plum Cove motors and controls with deep cycle batteries since it has a bigger body.
