The Passenger Car Company

Does anyone know what has happened to the Passenger Car Company? It's been several years since I saw the website sadly, and since I was a teenager back then, I could never afford the beauties of those passenger cars. I'm in my late 20s now and still can't afford them to be built, maybe in kit form t...

Re: New Crab 0-4-0 Drawings

It looks great, I just need to save some money first 😂. Cause I could use something quick and easy to build while planning and eventually building the 3751.

Re: Future of Superscale Locomotive

I can imagine after 2020, this may be a stretch but how are you and David coming along with the Superscale return? I remember the beauty of the parts in the catalog and so hope when it does return I’ll eventually have money to purchase and add them to my loco I’ll be building over the next several y...

Re: 2/12" Scale Brake Valves

I know this was asked a few years ago, but would you ever consider making the S-6 steam capable? Also will the H-6 be capable of automatic vacuum?

Re: Low water mark

NP317 how did you or where did you get your gauge glass from? I'm trying to find or learn how to build one for 2.5" scale. Planning for my eventual build of my engine. Good to also know where to set my gauge glasses now.

Re: Allen engine modifications

You're definitely not long, considering we had our own machine shop, however, I was a nuke and that reason was to continue research in alternate fuel sources instead of coal or lpg. I ended up getting more training on primary maintenance but also was trained to work on steam plant equipment in the e...

Re: Signal Complexity

Hey everybody, if you want to see complex, the society I'm currently apart of has a full operating system with shunt capabilities against the normal flow on our system. We have 3 signal boxes, one of which can control our entire system with 96 levers in total. It's located in SW London and it is an ...

Re: SRRL #23 First Run in Maryland

Could anyone help point me in the direction of sourcing the dual indicator gauge in the cab? I’m assuming it’s a dual vacuum gauge indicator which is what the society I’m a part of uses for train brakes. I’m planning to build Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge #9. So currently I’m in the planning stages ...

Re: Allen Tender project

Is the tender built for a ten wheeler? Also is the bin between the water legs of the tender removable so it can become a coal bunker?

Re: Oh. Forgot I had that....

I'm guessing by being a month behind that the couplers and trucks are all gone? I wish I would have known, I have a friend nearby that could have picked them up for me so I could use them on my locomotive I'm slowly collecting parts to start building.
