Did a bit of work on the girl today..
Painted the bed and the tailstock and some other parts.

According to Rohm this centre is designed to do Centre Plating as well as rich said above in his post great post.
Way too Fancy for my needs. Now for that money i would prefer one that makes coffee.

Hi mike I have the manual for the Matador as well. Lots of similarities in the 2 machines. I have the Variable drive unit which is missing. It most probably went south and too much hassle to repair or source spares down here in the bottom part of the world. It was replaced with a step pully arrangem...

A little a bit about the work for the lathe.... I work from home building commercial grade salt chlorinators. The lathe is used to make titanium anodes and spacers. The anode is 28mm i machine two flats and drill a 12mm hole in the end. So i do not really need super precision. The PVC is cut to size...
