Jan/Feb 2000 Live Steam Magazine Vulcan Duplex
I am doing research on the Vulcan Duplex locomotive and I found that there is something in the 2000 Jan/Feb about the duplex in the Mail Stop by Al Armitage? I was wondering if anyone has a copy they could scan in for me to see what it says ?

Spit balling here . If the engine has a water scoop, and lets say ,as we know happens that the scoop does not retract in time and get smashed . Is this a place that the rod shown would be used to shut a valve in the tender to stop water from leaking from a smashed scoop ? This is the only thing I ca...
