I tried yesterday and had the same problem. It was on some older posts. Wanted to show mu son in law Jim Glass' cnc mill and the stainless steel staircase. Wouln't open. Thought maybe they didn't open after a time. Usually don't have a problem.MAybe testerday was a bad day.

I went the liner route. MISTAKE. The first set I made turned out to be too thin at the muzzle end where thet had to be cut down to a hex. Machined through the tube and made a bad looking job. This one shoots .22 cal shorts. This one is not as large as what it may appear in the pic. The barrels are 12" long, the assembly is probably 20"The wheels are 16" dia. Maybe that will put in in a little better perspective. It does look more massive in the pics, but just a 22.

Does anyone on here have a 14" Rockwell with a taper attachment, or even a manual that shows one. Just purchased an attachment that was supposed to be for an 11". It closely resembles the one for mine, but is larger. Would like to find out what it fits.

Cutting across 16" with a hacksaw would be fun. Cut-off with a guide would be better. I think I would just take it to a shop that has a shear. They may feel sorry for you and cut it off for 5.00 bucks.
