Hi gang, it's been awhile since I have been on. Summer outdoors stuff..you know.

Anyway Ivy or Paddy have either of you machined the cam yet? I didn't get around to starting my engine and thought maybe I would start with this first.

Paddy, I don't think the cam lobes are in a circular arc. Take a look at the page that shows the cam data. It shows the rise in relation to the degree. Looks like I have going to have to use the rotary table set vertically and use the z axis along with the dro. Afterwards probably smooth with a file...

Have you two guys made your cams yet? I haven't been able to start yet. I decided to make my wife her birthday present for so I have been busy designing and building that. It's a macro focusing rail for taking macro pics.
