It should work.

I use One-Shot paint for most of my stenciling. But I have also used PPG ALK200 for my latest project.

There are other options when it comes to investment casting. Anything that does not produce toxins when burned out will work. But the less ash it leaves behind the better.

The shaft needs to be hardened. Not just drill rod but hardened drill rod. I am sure they spec a hardness.
