Re: Plumbing for RRSC American

For the injector make any bends with a tubing bender, try not to use fittings. The less restrictions the better. You can see the injector piping here. BTW you can see my blow down coming out the side with a hose connector on it. I use the blowdown as the fill valve when the engine is cold. For the b...

Re: NYC hudson prints

Actually it is basic math but maybe it would be much less work than scaling hundreds of parts if there are a set of drawings already done.

Re: Building My 2.5" 20 Ton Shay

Just a short update on Shays. Attached are pictures of TIm Szabo's and Tristan's engines at the winter meets in Florida. Tim ran his 3 cylinder Shay on coal and had no problem keeping up steam. His bore is also larger then what I called for in the drawings. Tim has since then converted his engine to...

Sealed water tight and if the ice melts before the beer is gone there is a drain in the bottom. I am guessing you ...

Re: Kozo"s k 27

I believe the original question was a multiplier for the drawings made in 3/4" scale. If my math is somewhat correct then to get to 2.5" scale you would just need to divide the 2.5 by .75 and get the 3.33 multiplier you are looking for. I have never looked at Kozo's drawings in 3/4" but I assume the...
