1” scale rivets
Looking at building a riveted tank car. If I use PVC for the tank, in 1” scale any good suggestions for what to use for rivets ? The prototype has pointed head rivets

Re: West Coast Live Steam BOOK Project
To my knowledge this book has not been published. Unfortunately Kent Shattock passed away a couple of years ago. I thought that someone was picking up the pieces to try to get it published.

Re: propane question
I would like to see photos of your burner for the locomotive. I have a small 1” scale locomotive that I would like to fire with propane. Are you using an arch? What did yours burn before?

Re: Little Engines Wendy?
I will say "No", neither in 1 1/2" or 1" scales. This must have been kit bashed together with some LE castings.

Truck history
Is there a website that I can go to to get the years certain style trucks were used (Arch, Andrews, Bettendorf, the odd ones, the modern roller/non roller bearing)? Arch from 1865 to 1900?, Andrews from 1880 to 1920? It would help a lot with a model I am working on

Gluing brass to aluminum
Off topic. My son is making a prop for a play. He is trying to glue rifle shells (brass) to a aluminum sheet for effect. welding is out, soldering does not work. Then he tried JB weld, they set up, but early come off if hit accidentally. Super glue and Gorilla glue tried also.
