Re: Show us your milling machine!
Turn key rotary phase box. Add Motor.. Good enough for this mill. Figure with the free motor, might as well get up and running as fast as possible.

Re: Show us your milling machine!
You know your RPC is big when it has wheels on it. Steve That, and i was real tired of kicking this cart back, and forth between my shipping container, and my shop. Figured if I made it single use, then that madness stops. I did have to build a frame around the cart to keep it from sagging. Guy I g...

Re: Show us your milling machine!
Guess I will play. Made a trade for this one..Super happy about the condition, and everything works like new..I traded a plasma cutter for it.. I also made a deal with another guy that had a perfect 15 hp motor for my RFC. Free motor /Ebay panel kit for $275, and now have three phase to run it.. I h...

Re: Power Mig 300 Questions
If you want a water tight tray or something along those lines, then pulse spray can be a good option. Much better then short-ac mig. Faster then tig..(mild steel etc..)

Re: Power Mig 300 Questions
One was non-working. The other one was fine but had a dryer cord on it for some reason, ans something was off with it.. Mint too.. He is lucky that way.. His original one is worked, hard, and it shows.. Still works fine.. I believe one of the first on the west coast. (Like mine was) In chopper machi...

Re: Power Mig 300 Questions
You will find the Powermig 300 a excellent auto-body machine.. I had one of the early ones, Not the first, but the second run. Still real early. Earliest was a non upgrade model.. If it has the plug in for a upgrade then it's not the first model. Just leave it alone if it welds good.. Some of them c...

Re: Any thoughts on this welder
You might want to look over a Tweco 211i.. It's quite amazing on both 120 volt and 240 volt operation. It blows me away the power it makes on either..Something like 160 amps/20 volts on 120 volt input power,/20 amp breaker. The 240 output is something like a 250 amp and 30 volts on the meter. It wil...

Re: Plasma kerf width..
No, it my standard 120 amp A-120 plasma cutter turned down to 30 amps (bottom output) . Trick with the Victor is (Thermal Dynamics) to run the smaller SL-40 torch from a cutmaster 42 on the larger machine.. 20-35 amp tip.. Really shocking just how small a standard air plasma kerf can be when drag cu...

Plasma kerf width..
I have been messing around with my plasma cutter, and came up with a interesting setup.. I have a cnc table, but like to cut out artwork/ etc by hand.. I have been looking for the smallest kerf I could find, and tumbled onto this.. Guess what machine gets the smallest kerf?
