Re: HF Sheet Metal Brake

A 4" finger will make a 4-1/2" wide box just fine, I you are that worried use two 2 inchers spaced apart .
Besides you cannot make a 4-1/2" box with a 4-1/2" finger it will be oversize by the material thickness.

Re: Replace v belt question

Has anyone used a BX, rather than plain B belt? BX is a segmented belt and is considered heavy duty. I believe that is because the segments allow the belt to more easily confirm to the pulley V and therefore reduce the slippage when taking a heavy cut. Re: Needle Scaler for TIG Prep?

You could buy a lot of material that didn't need to be descaled for the price of a needle scaler. In your welding table thread I offered to send you many lbs. of cold finished material for free but for some reason you seem to want to struggle on trying to do with less than ideal material.

Re: Cheapo Harbor Freight Welding Table

The only time one drags Mig is down hill on thin sheet metal, otherwise its pushed or run uphill. With so many of the 120 v affordable cheap welding machines flooding the market in the last 20 years and their inexperienced operators drag welding is why many mig welds are blamed when they fail, its a...
