Feeds are a function of tooth load and therefore a function of spindle speed, and cutter material and stock material... And machine rigidity and number if teeth in the tool. Do you have a dro that may have a feed value shown? Failing that, you can make a chart that shows dial number to inches per mi...

this is the most convenient way for me to get the fuel. https://vpracingfuels.com/product/m1/?c=215& supplier is 15 miles up the road, and for $12 a gallon is a no-brainer. if you live in Canada, it is called methyl hydrate and is much easier to find... Steve advises that he has 10+ year on the ...

bolts intersecting exhaust passages are not unusual...sometimes that is where everything has to go. (been there, done that). as for the angle hole...you did it the way most of us have had to. Evaluate the drawing and compare to 'real world' 3-4 good threads is generally enough to hold those bits on....

I have seen some locomotives that burned Coleman Camp stove fuel. Would this design be suitable for that fuel? I have a small 1" locomotive that was toying with converting it to run off Coleman fuel. The nice guy thing about the methanol is that it burns clean without a lot of nasty smells. I ...
