Re: Henrik Knudsen L46 searbar

Mr. Knudsen, I have repeatedly asked for you to return my dxf file as it was my only copy. I hate to go on the net,but maybe you aren't getting my e-mails. I may never have a use for it again, but They're many hours in making it. Butch

Shop insulation

I'm enclosing the 12x30 porch on my shop for additional space. It is a metal building with C purlions and R panel. I don't like the chicken wire and blanket insulation that they use in this area. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Butch

Re: Carbide Tool Grinder

I purchased a Powermatic 500 carbide grinder at auction last summer. It was made by Baldor and that is where I have bought the few parts that I have needed. It has no wheels. According to the parts book, I can't just put a diamond wheel on it without replacing the bearing and housing for that side. ...

Re: Knurling on a small lathe

Doug, thanks again for your help and the other guys also. I am building an unlimited return to battery rail gun for benchrest competition. It helps to have good knurls on the adjustment knobs. Butch

Knurling on a small lathe

I would like to make nice knurls without putting alot of sideload on my 6913 Clausing. How do the sissor type knurling tool work? Most of my work will be on 303 stainless and less than 2.5" in diameter. Any sugestions will be appreciated. Butch

George, I am slow, but am taking material to a friends EDM shop and they are going to make my L46 Sako sear bar. I have a dxf file and will drill and ream the one hole in the part and drill a starter hole for them. If it had cost me money, I would have made it myself. I am waiting on a #2 Shilen .22...

Re: For sale antique engines

Unfortunately they sold for $3000. I asked them to ask the new owner if he would price them out separately. Butch
