How far should that projection be in our model boilers? The drawing says minimum 1-1/2" in full scale, which is only 3/16" in 1.5 scale. Is that enough to make any difference?

Re: Brake rigging mounted
I can't say if it would make any real difference in performance, but from the picture it would appear that if you were to trade the two brake beams, the attachment point of the rear axel would move outward and the attachment point on front axel inward, which would lessen the angle and make the pull ...

Re: Model Steam Pressure Gauges
What would shipping be to Canada? I would think it should fit in some kind of small flat rate box.

Re: GE 44 tonner
As I recall from when I had HO trains as a kid, HO is 3.5 mm equals one foot. That is .1378 inches. If you are trying to build in the scale where 2.5 inches equals one foot, you would multiply the HO dimensions by 2.5/.1378, which is equal to 18.14 times.

Photo Prints on Laser Printer
I have a Brother color laser printer. We want to print some photos on it. Our local Staples has photo printing paper, but it all says it is for inkjet printers. The clerk told my wife that if we don't use photo paper made for laser printers, that it could damage the printer. I'm skeptical, but certa...

Do you have any of the 5' kits in stock? What is the price on those, or going to be on those? If that I s what we want, should we put our name on a list?

Re: 1" Scale Bobber kit ****ALL SOLD****
I hadn't previously looked at the link with pictures of the kit and instructions, because this is not a scale I am working in. I just did today, and they are impressive. This is a fantastic kit, looks relatively easy to build, clear instructions and a solid-appearing design. When those who bought th...
