Anyone here that can laser cut 1/16" plywood?
Needing a bunch of small shapes cut out of 1/16" plywood. Laser or small router bit in a CNC router would also work. Email me for DXF file.

Glenn has a good way if you want to bore it and if the small hole above the bore in the two rings goes all the way through you could use it on a dowel pin in a base plate to align the rings to bore them. I think it is a blind hole. I'll put my boots on a tromp through the snow out to the shop and c...

So there is enough meat to open the .625 version up to .700 Material is supposed to be cast 4140 I already own this so making a new on from scratch seems like a lot more work than necessary. -- I got ya Bill. No drawing needed. -- Than...

Setup - boring - reaming?
I have a flip up front sight that has a .625 bore. I need to open it up to .700. I have a small boring head I can use, but what is the best way to hold this and align it with my mill spindle? What other ways might I do this?

Insert Lathe Tool - What type of steel for body?
I want to make a couple of special lathe insert holders. What would be the best steel to use that will hold up long term in the insert seat area? Should this area be hardened or the whole tool?
