Had limited stock of the 3/16” and 1/4” straight globe valves at first but they are available again.

You definitely want some friction on the trip rod. You would have a really hard time introducing so much drag on it that it interferes with the pump's operation, especially if its from a rubber o-ring. Having the reversing valve move out of place due to being too free would be a much worse problem t...

These are designed with 15" gauge locomotives in mind. They are not any particular scale, just designed around 3/8" pipe and 120 gallons/hour capacity.

Cleaning does very little to help a safety valve, at least in our scale. If the valve was hanging up after popping (most likely scenario in my opinion) cleaning won’t help.
