WTB Eccentric Engineer Small Scale Injector

Hi, Does anyone have an Eccentric Engineer small scale injector? I recently acquired a 3/4 inch pacific, and the English style injector leaves a bit to be desired above 80 psi. So I’d like to get one of Anthony’s that are very reliable. If anyone has one they’d sell, please email me at b.tusin@yahoo...

It is 1.5 or 1.6. I’m not sure which.

Re: Question: parts for a steamer

Mike is 110% right. It is not worth it for someone to convert their engine to propane for one track that is thousands of miles away. Train Mountain is fun, but it is not worth the time and money to convert your engine for one track. They can not call themselves the premier live steam track until coa...

Re: Steam Cylinder Cocks

Bill,

I do not have automatic Van Brocklin cylinder drains on my engine. They are the Okadee cylinder drains that Brian Keim makes. They are his own design like the steam operated water pumps and air compressors he makes, and are steam controlled.

Re: Steam Cylinder Cocks

I am very happy with the KSP Oakadees on my pacific. They work really well with no issues, they never get stuck open or closed. Plus they look nice on the engine too.

Re: Erie K5a Pacific

Well the running season is done for the 2938. It has been a very fun summer of running the engine with next to no issues. So far the engine has been to Train Mountain, Northeastern Ohio Live Steamers, Mill Creek Central, PA&W, and the Canton St Paul and Pacific. The engine has way exceeded my ex...

Air Pressure Switch

What is everyone using for an air pressure switch for your electric air compressors for brakes? The one that came with my pump is 90 psi on 120 off. While the braking power is nice at that psi it really takes a out of the battery having to pump that high. The place I got the compressor from does not...
