Re: New Grizzly Combination Machine G0727

I wonder why the shipping costs more for this than say a g0619 mill which is heavier? Looks like the pallet and box isn't any bigger than the G0619 mill. Are they starting to pull the fleabay trick, low cost for item and way over priced on the shipping!?

Re: Spanner Wrench

Why not pin and silver solder? Ooop! Looks like you used tubing instead of a steel rod for the handle or did you? Still the tool looks fine to me the way you did it, if it works good that is what matters.

Re: reverse tumbler gear speed reducer for G0602 lathe

I have an idea for an easier to make speed reducer. That will still fit inside the lathe cover, plus make it so a guy can change the speed some. I drew up a rough sketch in deltacad and promptly lost it, not knowing what I was doing trying to send it by email. Now I just have to build it and redo the...

Gadget
You get your mill finished? I made the dividing head and it works pretty nice for home made.
Show us some progress on your machine when you can.
I used the mill on steel bought some milling bits at harbor freight and they work good. I wasn't sure they would hold up but they do.
