 If anyone reading this can't relate at some level to the struggle, you are either OCD and have everything always where you need it or sitting in the armchair dreaming and not doing! Funny stuff!

Re: My N&W class A 1239 (gauge 5", 1 in 10 scale)

jack, I have seen it in person, and the photos and video seen here and on YouTube don't do it justice! It is a work of art and faithful to the prototype. Just incredible that it works and works well to be 1" scale. Asteamhead has created a magnificent operating scale model! Each addition makes it ev...

Re: Supplier of Paint Mask?

I just used a mask made by Connie to letter our club water tower tank. Worked really well and had a minimum of touch-up after removing the mask. Re: 1" U in 1/4" copper tube

I have had pretty good luck making a "mandrel" of washers with the correct OD and stacking them to 1/4" with fender washers with a larger OD and bolting together to bend a radius in copper tubing. Wont work with brass as it wants to kink but 1/4" copper will make 3/4" and 1" diameter bends pretty we...

Re: Eccentric Engineer Large Injector Install

It has been a learning curve for us. We installed an arch and a good injector at the same time. The new injector supplies a good bit more water than the old one, so I can kill the pressure pretty quick, so learning to take more small sips instead of big ones! The old injector was so finicky that we ...

Eccentric Engineer Large Injector Install

Anthony Duarte has designed an injector that has awesome performance. I bought the injector many months ago and have been admiring it but have not had the time to install it on my 10-wheeler until recently. I finally found a couple hours and made a quick and dirty install into the existing plumbing ...

Re: 482 night run

If he is firing with char, that might explain the meteor shower. We had a member who used that for a time and burned a bunch of holes in my pop-up canopy just steaming up! Could just be a serious drafting loco!

I like it! I built two very similar last year and I think your price is reasonable if not too cheap! It all depends on the quality of the plywood.
