Re: Fire watch, solid fuel run at Train Mountain?

I'm good with rain (or snow). I'd be up for it and would go up to run in late winter/early spring. Might even join again and go up since it would be a group of us rock burners. Anyone who knows me, knows I am --slightly-- on the coal bandwagon. (I will hold a hot dog over my friends who are steaming...

Re: Having fun at your club?

Re: INJECTOR UPDATE

No issues for me. I'm glad you are not rushing the final product. Shows you are dedicated to giving those of us who ordered one (or two) we are going to have a trouble-free experience with them. I stand by my order and will wait for the final product.

Thanks for being a great supplier, Anthony!

Mystery Cab Forward at GGLS...

Can anyone tell me about the cab forward at the beginning of this video on youtube? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKKVGVNbGVI It is not Ed's and looks to be 1" scale, as it looks as it is being steamed up in the 1" and smaller steaming bays at giggles. I've been around for a long time, but have ne...

Re: Any Flood Damage to Sac Valley Live Steam?

SVLS would not have damage from the river, otherwise my house and railroad would be under as well. There may be standing water there, however.

Re: crankpin size of material selection

I use oil-hardening drill rod. Right on size and pretty hard. I do not harden them, but have not had much in the way of wear after 6 years.

Re: Just recieved sad news that Barry Hauge has passed away

Barry let me hold the one tool that was used to make each one of his cones for his injectors. At that moment I felt the weight of every single injector made a...
