Re: Riverside Meet

The room rate quoted by Gary is a great deal. Priceline and Hotwire do not compare. And then you wind up with a room that is in Colton or San Bernardino. Comfort Inn has a good breakfast, clean rooms and a pleasant atmosphere.

Two Alco Northerns (aka Little Engines Old Northern) and an Alco Hudson. Paul you must be a glutton for punishment. Just one Northern in a lifetime would be enough.

I'm not sure as to the date, but once upon a time Kemtrom offered it as an O Gauge kit.

Re: THE PATTERNS ARE FINISHED AND READY FOR THE FOUNDRY

David,

Thank you for bringing back your trucks. I have two pair and they have been bullet proof for the past 19 or so years, and they were used before I purchased them. Can't wait to see the final product.

Re: OPENING A CAN OF WORMS

A club in the western US had an accident caused by a broken flange. At what point should a wheel be red-lined or condemmed for flange wear? Current 1.5" standards (if you can call them that) is max width of 3/16". What should the minimum, 50% of max? Food for thought.

Re: railroad ties

Train Mountain is using a table that routes the ties to accept the tie plates. It has been in use for the past 20+ years. Contact Russ Wood thru info@tmrr.org
