Re: Restoring a modified Allen 2-4-0 barn find

Re: Cadkey Software

I got lucky last night and was able to recover the patch software from a tired but will worn CD. Phew. This version of Cadkey for windows, version 7 does not play well with Windows 10. I am able to get it to run on my Dell 630 laptop by using Microsoft's Virtual software patch with Windows 7. The pr...

Cadkey Software

A bit off topic but maybe someone out there is using Cadkey for Windows version 7 which was published in the mid 1990s and works fine with Windows 95. I'm looking for the patch for the software that makes it compatible with Windows XP.

Nah, I admit it, I'm a wimp  I agree that as long as your moving with the wind in your face you'll keep cool AND many did infact do just that. They got more "cajones" than me and I applaud them for it. Who was that I saw running the UP Northern every single day in the heat of the day betwe...

3/4" flanged pressure gage. 60 or 80 psi. Not sure which since the locomotive is parked 250 miles from my home location. I should be able to let you know on pressure prior to your departure from the East Coast.

Oscar and his Invicta. It wasn't a spring meet at LALS without him. Somewhere in the archives is a photo of Oscar's Invicta with his daughter and Chet Peterson's Northern with his grandson racing along the north side of the railroad.
