Re: Live Steam CNC Defender

I would prefer not to discuss specific financial aspects of my business in a public forum. I decided to invest in a piece of equipment that was more than capable of producing aerospace or medical device components in the event that making only live steam parts wasn’t producing sufficient income. Thi...

Re: Live Steam CNC Defender

Thanks for starting this thread. My biggest problem with the anti-CNC sentiment is the suggestion that those who take advantage of the technology are just button pushers. A “button pusher” is someone who loads material and hits the green button after the real machinist has set up and programmed the ...

Re: Last two days R&D

I make a point to refrain from developing products that are already offered by other suppliers. Since SuperScale has been purchased, I have no intention of offering anything that was part of the SS catalog. There's no sense in cannibalizing its potential success. However, if I refrained from making ...

Nathan 1921 Starter Valves

Hi everyone, The starter valves are undergoing final assembly, however I still don't have everything I need to assemble the flanged connections, so I'm offering the spanner nut version first. If you have ordered a valve from me, please let me know if you are interested in the spanner nut version. I ...

Re: Last two days R&D

Hoppercar, mufflers are TBD.

It’s been brought to my attention that Australia (and possibly other regions) require that safety valves be manually operable by lifting the valve stem. So, I will gladly offer these safeties with an elongated stem by request.

Re: Last two days R&D

Thanks Tom, noted.

I’ve put information about this project on my website and have started a list of people who are interested.

They will be offered with 1/16” and 1/8” NPT adapters, and other sizes can be made by special order.

Last two days R&D

Hi everyone, I hesitate to post this so early on, but I'm just too excited! These are prototype 1" scale consolidated safety valves. I sincerely dislike the word "cute" when describing our hobby, but at just over 1" tall, there's really no other way to describe them. Can hardly w...

Re: Wanted electronic drawings of smaller Live Steam Locomotive

I'm under the impression that the OP is asking about smaller 7.5" gauge locomotives, not small scales. The LE American/Mogul/Crab would fall under that category.

Tom,

I'm waiting on a few things that are out of my control, but they are nearly ready for assembly.

Thanks,

Fender wrote: Fri Jul 20, 2018 5:14 am Anthony, do any of these replacement parts, such as the cones, use a press fit into the body?
Thanks.
Just the combining cone is pressed in. Delivery cone is threaded in, and the steam cone is a slip fit.

Thanks!
