Not seeing anything as for the Lagun steady rest an stop . Anyone have an Idea how much I should ask for them ? I was going to use the money from them to help pay for a 4 jaw chuck and a tool post . I did find parts for the trav-a-dile Im probably going to keep it for now .

Got it and the stop are for a Lagun liberty lathe now the question is how much do I ask for them ? oh I have a trav-a-dial 7a that came with it but it needs a new lens i see them on ebay but 600 bucks seems crazy to me .

Unfortunately the stop doesn't have any part numbers on it . It's pretty nice though all machied actually wish it fit my lathe lol . Really appreciate your help man thanks for the help .

Sorry spro I'm not sure if I understand what you are saying . Should I list it as a south bend rest ? I don't want to rip anyone off . But I cant find any other information on this thing . I do have a micrometer carriage stop that came with it and looks like its for the same size v way . Would that ...

its a good bit bigger then the steady rest on my 13 lathe but I completely agree he is high . I have been researching this rest for 3 days lol cant seem to find anything concrete . Is there a list of south bend casting numbers some place on line ?

top of the notch to outside edge of opposite flat is 5" 1/4" , its 7' 1/4' from the top of the notch to the center of the inserts . casting numbers on the reast are 0213/180 numbers on the base clamp are 2131 . Its covered in cosmoline don't think it was ever used

After checking the distance from the top of the compound to the center of the spindle it looks like the bxa will be the better fit . So is the Phase II starter set considered to be the better import tool post vs all the others ? The lathe looks to be the same as a Vectrax 14x40 every thing works per...

new guy here hello everyone Picked up a 13x40 gear-head lath last week got an amazing deal on it but I need a tool post . Should I go with a bxa or cxa quick change ?
