Re: They just don't get it
Mike M. and I for the past 25 years used to run the trains on portable track at a show, that the Bedford Boomers put on. One of my favorite questions: "Is that a real fire?" At every show, one of the questions was "where is the person that is running the throttle?" So at one show...

Re: TIG Welding
Ruger338, Thank you for the advice.
I have picked up new tig gloves, a new helmet, a new set of leathers and a tungsten grinder.
Still trying to get the hang of not sticking the tungsten.

Re: THE HARDINGE DSM-A AUTOMATIC SCREW MACHINE
Nice machine! Reminds of my early days at the foundry with cabinets full of those types of relays and timers. We had one "automatic" machine that used those types of sequencers; cams and switches and oh could it be exciting!

Re: Explaining Your Hobby
At my place, my homeowners would only cover the out-buildings as they called them, and not the contents. Turned out that my business insurance covers my building and the contents and was cheaper than the homeowners insurance!

Re: Edge Technologies Pro Lathe Gage for tool centering opin
I have some of their tools and like them. The tool height gage that I have from them, is a little different. It has a v that goes against the shaft
and then you set the tool height from there.
