All of the mufflers I had in stock are now sold. If anyone wishes to get one, let me know. I can do another run of them in the coming months.
Thanks
Brian

Re: Safety valve mufflers, limited supply in stock
I will not be able to run during the meet since the 15th is William's 13th birthday, so he is spending the day celebrating with some classmates. I can run down in the morning and bring one to you though.

Safety valve mufflers, limited supply in stock
When I need a part for my locomotive that is not available, I make it. I decided to produce a few safety valve mufflers earlier this year. Tested on my own locomotive, no changes to pop or reseat pressure. I have been asked several times how they work and all I can say is they do change the shrillne...

Re: Steam Air Pump Valves
Pete, Thank you for noticing that my 2.5” scale air compressors cost $1200. You are comparing your desire to understand the mechanics of a compressor with my desire to supply a system of precision machined 100+ bronze and stainless steel components, working together as a system that must reliably fu...

Re: Help with Superpower Detail Cross Compound Air Pump
Hi Greg, To make a air compressor effective at achieving useful air pressure, you want to minimize the dead space or volume between the air cylinder piston and the inlet and outlet check valves. Same idea is used in race car motors, where guys will mill down a set of heads a little to decrease the s...

Re: Help with Superpower Detail Cross Compound Air Pump
Hi ebtfan, I have built 5 of these compressors, using the SuperPower Detail casings, with the exception of the top head. I chose to make my own top head assemblies after considerable effort to make the Super Power head casting work failed. Videos of two of these compressors can be found here; https:...

Re: Taking orders for 3/4" scale Okadee door hinges
Last call for hinge casting sets. I will place the order this weekend.
I made a set of pins for my set from ø3/16 SS turned down to ø3/32. Here is a picture of what they look like.

Re: Taking orders for 3/4" scale Okadee door hinges
Hi Steamingdon,
The wax print lines are visible since I zoomed in with my camera. In my opinion, they are far smoother than a sand casting.
Regards,
Brian
