Thanks for the info....any additional thoughts would be helpful. My question on turnouts come from this thought....purchasing commercially available frogs ("# 8")....and using them to build a # 6 switch (that is what I meant buy "shortening" a #8). Will it work? timmy

Socket Head Cap Screws

Looking through the McMaster-Carr website at SHCS, I noticed 2 types of heads are available standard and low....are their any advantages to one over the other? It would seem to me the low head would be more to scale or realistic looking - are they? Timmy
