Re: Nusky/Mercer 0-4-0 driver width?

Is the narrower driver on the wider guage to help prevent having to move side rods, valve gear or perhaps cylinder outboard? Or in other words having a narrower driver causes the flanges to be further apart by default.

Re: How about some examples of good casting tooling.

We intentionaly require two folks to lift and pour. It is difficult to see but the ground slopes away, with two folks on the hot tools, i...

PM sent.
BTW, I had some communication with Dave Bortz, whom I think now has Superscale, but it didn't turn up anything.

Re: Axle pump feed water

No, the problem we are having is I left the parts in the vinegar too long. I ordered two cups from Superscale and that seemed to help, but I should have ordered two stems at the same time and I didn't. But, now that you mention it, I am suspicious. It dosen't seem like the flow overboard with the st...

Re: Axle pump feed water

I've been allowed to take my friends Mogul out many times, and have had to push her back in twice, because I have caused his superscale injector to become erratic and I can't get repair parts for it. Were it not for the axle pump, I would never have gotten out the chute. The tender hand pump.... onl...
