Enco 12x36: Basic 12x36... I realize this is a LOT bigger machine than something like the 9x20. Downside is it requires 240v which means I'll have to put in a subpanel for additional circuits. Thanks for the input, y'all. Years ago I bought a used American machine for $1000. While it seemed like a good buy at the time I later realized the bed was worn in front of the chuck and it was missing a lot of features that I didn't know I needed until later when I had some experience. Thanks for the input! It's more an individual thing, and what you want to do with it. Typical 9x20 imports would be a complete non-starter for me, and I started with one. Power cross feed and quick change are musts for me, and I think most anyone would agree. Is it just because of the power cross fe...
