Pyramid Products Co.?

Hello group, Years ago, in Live Steam Magazine , a company named Pyramid Products Company in (I believe) Phoenix AZ, advertised "home foundry furnaces and supplies". I have not seen its (Pyramid's) advertisement in quite some time, and have not been able to locate it (Pyramid), or any info...

Thank you for your responses. They, and the examples of drawings that you posted, have given me a better idea of CAD's capabilities than I had prior.

Thank you all very much!

H.J. Coventry 1/2" Scale

Dear Group, In the Live Steam Marketplace forum, I have some "want ads" placed for drawings, blueprints, castings, chasses, materials, etc. for 1/2" scale, 2-1/2" gauge material, particularly those of (but not limited to) H.J. Coventry of Baltimore, MD. I don't want to cross-post...

I have, in the course of my work, had out-of-date LOCTITE retaining compound fail in service. For this reason (it impacts me financially if it fails), I buy the smallest possible quantities at a time and replace the bottles often (whenever the expiration date arrives). Perhaps it'll last longer than...

Whistle castings by Dick Bagley

Hello Group: Does anyone know whatever became of the steam whistle "kits" once offered for sale by Dick Bagley ? He advertised them in "The Miniature Locomotive" magazine back in the early 1950s, and to my knowledge, still had them available well into the 1980s. They were sold as...

Thanks for the responses thus far. This type of Cretors popcorn engine, by Shetler, is similar to the ECX type at Coles. Similar size, appearance, etc. I am trying to find out about its origins.....the design, Mr. Shetler, etc.

Thank you,

Newbie Question: C.A.D. Quality / Appearance

Hello, group- I need to copy existing live steam blueprints from the 1930s to the 1950s into a CAD program so as to make new masters on mylar (the originals are lost/destroyed). I am not experienced with AutoCad or other CAD programs at this time. However, I will either take courses at a local engin...

The bottom shelves of lots of workbenches are littered with the dead carcasses of locos that 1st-time builders didn't or couldn't finish, and most of them are NOT 0-4-0s. There is a message in there for us. Those are called NAIL ENGINES , and they're most common in 1/2", 3/4", and 1"...

Thanks to Mr. Sclavi for solving [what was to me] the "mystery" of the video's title. I have (since learning the title) also found the video on amazon.com, as well as on eBay. Thanks to the others for their responses too. I appreciate that you all took the time to answer. -John Kurdzionak ...
