Re: "New" toolbox

Before I built my current garage, it was plenty dirty, always tripping over stuff and digging through piles to find what I needed. After having to move everything out to have the new one built, I vowed to never allow it to get like that again. I am also getting a little older now, and realizing that...

"New" toolbox

I recently picked up a new toolbox from a woman I work with. It had been in her Uncles estate who had recently passed away. He was 92, and he had gotten it from his Uncle. I found a note dated 1947 in the toolbox, making him in his 20's at the time, along with a Browne & Sharpe catalog showing t...

How is the eccentric (in the column) locked in position? (Or is it allowed to float?)

Slow speed adapter for my Delta DP-220

I finally got around to making a slow speed adapter for my Delta DP-220. I found the pulley on eBay, and made the rest, here are some pictures. Next is a table lifting device, already have it designed =) http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u169/ksierens/Shop/IMG_0670.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/a...

Re: New members shop

Thanks Ken. All the machines were in good shape to begin with, but I did take them apart, clean/polish and painted the Benchmaster since the previous owner had already painted it and did not do a good job.

Re: What tooling have you made for your lathe?

I made a handle for the spindle on my Craftsman 101.21200 lathe that can also be used for indexing using the lathes change gears. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u169/ksierens/Arborend.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u169/ksierens/Clamingend.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u169/ksie...
