Re: Building My 2.5" 20 Ton Shay
Just a short update on Shays. Attached are pictures of TIm Szabo's and Tristan's engines at the winter meets in Florida. Tim ran his 3 cylinder Shay on coal and had no problem keeping up steam. His bore is also larger then what I called for in the drawings. Tim has since then converted his engine to...

Re: Kozo"s k 27
I believe the original question was a multiplier for the drawings made in 3/4" scale. If my math is somewhat correct then to get to 2.5" scale you would just need to divide the 2.5 by .75 and get the 3.33 multiplier you are looking for. I have never looked at Kozo's drawings in 3/4" b...

Dan
If there is enough metal there it looks like those would work. I emailed them and ask for a drawing.
Thanks JB

Re: Wanted 2.5" pedistal type journal boxes
These are for 2.5" passenger car trucks and yes I could fabricate them from bar. Just getting lazy in my old age.
There are lots of other parts in the trucks to make also. FUN FUN Fun.

I am looking for 8 narrow gauge journal boxes for use with pedestals. These would have been from Conway Locomotive.
