...what else can a ball end end mill be used for? I gotta wonder if you can have a ball mill cut into a square mill. We send a lot of junk mills to contour360 out of Maine. It can be a lot cheaper than buying new, especially if you’re looking for something with a particular radius or weirdo coating.

For those of you with a physics or engineering background, you will know that the force generated is a product of Mass times Velocity. Not to be wise guy, but F=mA P=mv or Momentum=mass*velocity Your suggestion to use a dremel to test a setup is exactly what I’m using though, and it worked perfectly.

Real quick; For a driver wheel, do you drill the axle and crank holes on a mill, then mount the casting on an arbor to cut the flange or do you cut the flange and drill the axle hole on the lathe then drill the crank hole on a mill?
