The original crosshead pumps on the American were .1875" diameter rams, later they became .250" which added a little more displacement. I am currently building two of these engines and will find out if the larger bore was sufficient.

Interesting. The drawings from Baldwin call it a Drip Funnel. Maybe tundish is European.

Some updates. Installed drip funnel from Larry Fisher of Fisher Detail Foundry. Relocated the water glass to correct position and size.

The running boards are rough cut. Three boards are biscuit joined and glued together to make the one running board. They are cut from oak.

The cab deck boards are cut from oak. The rear braces/supports will be finished tomorrow when the material arrives.
