Hi Anthony,
As you know I am interested in 1.5" scale Nathan inspirator H-N-L and starter valves. Also the Nathan top mounted dual check valve. I would think a 3 feed Bulls Eye lubricator would be more ideal for 2.5" narrow gauge.
Could use all these right now.

Re: 1.5" scale narrow gauge K-36

This piece is what I was looking for the 000-120 hex head screws for. Well I couldn't find any so I cut down the head of som...

Re: 3/4" Scale J1e
Jack, I am so glad you take the time to explain in detail how you do an operation. I will be bookmarking these pages because I hope to be at this stage soon on my locomotive. The diamond safety plate, did you have this made for 3/4" scale? It looks really nice. I have been looking for 000-120 b...

Re: 3/4" Scale J1e
Hello Jack, always impressed with your work. I too am enraged with the inability to find items that where available in the past and if available the quality isn't what it used to be. We always have the choice to make it ourselves but that takes pressiouse time, trade-offs to be made. I have always b...

Re: Drilling through boiler tube
Thank everyone for your response. I'll haft to check out the naval bronze. I would need to make the studs, I doubt anyone makes them.
It would be nice to not haft to worry about them rusting up solid.

Re: 1.5" scale narrow gauge K-36
The top half will have 1/4" insulation behind it. The bottom half is for looks. A pattern was made for the tender steps by the person who started the K-36 project back in the mid 80s. I have the pattern for it. I have all the patterns for the K-36 in 1.5" scale and if anyone is interested ...
