Table rotation allows taper grinding . Pulley don't worry about it belt will ride fine. Only issue MAY be some viabration induced. Think grinding a Morse or B&S taper but will need a rotating work head and footstock to do it.

Lot sales always bring less than selling piece meal . If you have the cash and the engery to break it up and sell by individaul item like Bill says double your money.

3 ton is the minimum for a general shop arbor press, and get a ratching one for sure. That way you can maximize the force YOU put into the press. For your job a 12 ton hydraulic press cold is the way to go.

Don't be so lazy ! Get a piece of seamless tube ,cut a internal thread ,buy a thrust bearing from McM/C ,whip up a handwheel. I have seen pre threaded tube available . Not a big project ,made several for a couple of lathes I have had. Look on eBay as over the years I have seen several handwheel draw...

The upper screw controls the adjustment ,the bottom one locks the adujstment. Having 2 screws is something Bridgeport should have done !Turnthe upper screw CCW to loosen the gib.

Try "JFK" they may have or can make a MT4 to 5-C adapter . But they are proud of their stuff !

I have repaired several of that style lathe aprons. You will need to remove all 3 rods and the bracket on the RH end of the lathe to remove the rods. then simply on-bolt the apron from the rest of the cariage .
