Put on an aluminum facia and let them chew on that.

Re: Clockwise Anti - Clockwise To Undo Machine Spindle Nuts
Whatever will we do when all the analog clocks have been replaced by digitals and the children of today have no concept of clockwise?

Re: Bearings rumble at high RPM
Two causes I can think of are lack of lubrication and a chipped roller. It might be easy to add a little grease to the bearing to see if the rumble goes away but I really think you will be replacing the bearing.

Re: combination welders
So, my little weld pack 100 Lincoln welder from Home despot has failed. And I've only had it for15 years. I have used it a lot though. so I went to home depot again and at this time they have these units that are supposed to be Mig, Tig, and stick combo. do those actuallt work well, or are they a t...

Re: Free and easy to learn 3D CAD
I started CAD just a few weeks ago with Fusion 360 and slice for 3-D printer with Cura. Both have steep learning curves but both have a lot of power too. Fortunately the filament is cheap and I'm not under any deadline so when I make a mistake and the printed object comes out wrong it isn't a major ...

Re: Photo Prints on Laser Printer
I have a Brother color laser printer. We want to print some photos on it. Our local Staples has photo printing paper, but it all says it is for inkjet printers. The clerk told my wife that if we don't use photo paper made for laser printers, that it could damage the printer. I'm skeptical, but cert...

Re: How to Remove Rope from Chainsaw Chamber?
If you can see the top of the piston alongside the rope you might be able to use a wooden wedge to force the piston down. If you can't see the top of the piston you might be able to remove the spark plug and use a wooden dowel and small hammer to drive the piston down. If neither of those work you w...

Re: How to Remove Rope from Chainsaw Chamber?
It is likely that you got the end of the rope wedged into the exhaust port or transfer port. Remove the muffler so you can see the piston. The transfer port would be lower in the cylinder so you might be able to see if that is where the rope wedged. You might be able to (very carefully so you don't ...

Re: Too cold
When I designed my house I planned for a heating system to barely keep up when the outside temp was -50F. It didn't quite keep up when we had a temp of -57 so I feel I did a good job. The -28 we had this past weekend was no problem.

Re: Electric motor capacitors
Capacitors in motors are used as phase shifters so the motor will start and run the proper direction. They can be used just for starring the motor or for continuous running. Ones used for starting are usually much higher capacitance that what you have so I would suspect yours is intended for continu...
