With your CAD models, I saw it on a picture I have of 2908 straight across the left side. When I zoom up, I see the Inspirator. Let me know when you get it working. It really looks good.

Tim, you might look at McMaster-Carr and their "Machine-Your-Own 5C Collets". They're 5C and one type is made of brass. Bore exactly what you need.

there is a fellow in LS&ORR who is advertising this service. note that WEDM does a better job on hardened steel than soft steel, hence what you do and the order in which you do it is important. To make a good link you need to start with unhardened steel then: drill / tap / harden / grind to thi...

How is your locomotive coming along Peter? Tim Right now, I need to finish the rear steam chest covers and the valve stem crosshead and guides. All the rest of the valve gear is done. Once I get these parts made, I can try it on air. I've had it towed around Don Saagar's track twice and it tracked ...

Got my sheet of 1.6" scale diamond plate from Mike at Little Engines and boy is this stuff great! Way better in person that the picture showed. Thanks Mike.
