I think they are giving them away at that price. I can only assume they were on already on microfiche. An AO paper sheet scanned in the UK commercially will set you back about $15. Even with volunteer labour a week’s hire of an A0 flatbed scanner will still set you back $750.

Re: Replacing the collet alignment screw in a Bridgeport spi
What I have never understood is why when it was designed they did not move the screw location down a 1/16 so you could get the Allen key in straight on.

Re: Newbie from Norway
Hey Jorgen welcome to the site. I am often in Mo I Rana weather permitting which it doesn’t very often. I am looking forward to you guys building this heavy jet airport, so we can slip in between the shipments of salmon taking off. I retro fitted an align power drawbar to my Bridgeport and it works ...

Re: Trains in New Zealand?
Another thing I saw just before I left on the north Island, but missed. There is a company doing tours on old rail lines in self drive modified golf buggies. You ride the rails for anything from a 1 to three day tour. Could be reclassified as a nature tour? Greytown is well named but as the car hire...

Re: Trains in New Zealand?
I have a Tomtom GPS, POI file with all the live steam clubs in New Zealand which I used on my trip in January which you’re welcome to if you have a TT. For full size if there is one place I would not miss it’s a visit to Mainlinesteam’s depots they have them on both the north and south island. http:...

Re: Riverside Live Steamers Fall Meet
Just back from my week in LA and a big thanks to all at the Riverside club who made me feel so welcome. Thanks also to Jim, Jack, Bruno and Howard for loading me up with lots of goodies for 765. High point for me of course was the three Berkshires in action on the main line. It was good to meet up w...

Re: Riverside Live Steamers Fall Meet
I will be there for the weekend to hopefully pick up enough bits for 765, to give the wings on the A380 a work out on the way back.

Re: Standard HT stoker
I stand corrected after modifying my search criteria at the NWHS I came up with a couple of hundred drawings not 4 this time.
Eight of which are just what the doctor ordered
Happy, I won’t have a big gap below the fire door now.

Mike,
The parts look superb, as I said the locomotive is 2” scale from 3ft 6” gauge so your parts are too small, unfortunately.

Standard HT stoker
Now the Berkley fire door is underway for the 25NC, I need to fill the rest of the opening up. I could make the fire door bigger or put a blanking plate where the distribution table fitted. I would prefer to fit a dummy delivery tube that exists out of the cab floor and fits to the boiler. Anyone go...
