What is the recommended clearance on each side of the track? Would a 3 foot wide right of way be enough.

Looking for something to use as a blowdown valve. Most of the commercial ones I see are too modern for my engine. Any suggestions?

I know about using steam oil for the cylinders and such but what do you use for things like rod bearings and motion parts?
