Difference between go and no go

What is the difference between the go and no go gauge? and next part to the question probably has several different answers but how close of a tolerance should one strive to keep to the go gauge. Does it make a difference in the accuracy of the gun to keep this as tight as possible or not much diffe...

Re: Lobo CNC Mill

Let see if this works its not a very good video but it shows the Lobo mill doing its thing. This part is a flip stop that is being made as part of a adjustable stop for a local woodshop. Being cut out of .500" aluminum.

Re: G-simple or Cam-Bam

Thanks for the Reply Glenn

I did just that and was able to load a part create the g-code and test run the machine. Cant cut the part yet my vise doesn't show til tomorrow. But Cam Bam certainly seems a bit easier to understand and use. While the part is a simple brake hanger i'm happy!!

Re: Lathe Tool Shank Orientation

When you ask about tip angle are you referring to the tool rake? whether it would be positive negative or zero.

Re: Lobo CNC Mill

Steppers and controller are ordered. I decided to go with the ones Jeff has in the package for several reasons but mostly from what I have read closed loop is the way to go and looking at individual parts his pricing looks pretty good. I will update the assembly and start up once they arrive.
