Willy, I did try and tap the safety and the stupid thing would still pop open, scared a few people as I was running with the poker pressed on the safety to keep it shut. Fred R. attached is a photo of my safetes on the loco. They are the Bagley type I think. I ordered one of them from coles a while...

Hi everyone,
On a single axle equalized lead truck,
Where does the “rocker arm” tie into the lead truck assembly?
I figured it would tie into journal boxes, to apply weight to that axle
but this doesn’t not seem to be the case.

Thats interesting,
If i understand you correctly, that shell must be a custom roll.
im will be using 12 sch 40 pipe as my shell with will be 12 " id
im not going to have that much lagging, but i will have at least a half inch
does you boiler have the "Water Walls"?
