A Miller Syncrowave 200 is a bargain at $1500. I bought a new 250 Syncrowave a couple of years ago, and don't regret it at all. I couldn't find any used ones around here that weren't trashed.

On the WeldingWeb forums there is a fellow who goes by the handle shovelon who beta tested the Harbor Freight Vulcan machines for HF for a year before they released them, and they made several changes before release due to his suggestions. He owns a welding business in the Ventura, Ca. area where HF is headquartered. He is very high on the Vulcan equipment and says the Vulcan Protig 200 is basically a pop-off of the Lincolc Squarewave Tig 200; many of the components even interchange. I bought the Lincoln machine last fall but thought long and hard about it and almost bought the HF Vulcan machine instead for half as much.

Go to the WeldingWeb forums in the Harbor Freight section and you can read a lot about their Vulcan stuff.

Mike of RRSC bought one of the Vulcan MIG welders and loves it.
