I got a cog belt that appears to be the right length. I found a 1 HP motor, but it is 3450 rpm. Kind of wanted that size, but 1750, but didn't have it. I srounged around the garage and found a cog drive pulley, but it is a little big (4") at that rpm. Didn't have a taper-lock bushing the right size either, so I will have to srounge one of those up. Nearest size I have is 7/8 shaft size, and I need a 5/8. They shouldn't be too expensive if I can't find one used.
Thanks for the help, I will let you know as it progresses. David
