Thanks for that perspective Will.

I can see on some projects where shearing the material would take no swarf. A nibbler would leave gaps.

I had seen some snips tha curl the swarf too. Still leaves a gap if that can be tolerated.

Most of the Beverly's I have seen mounted to a post, needing a few feet all the way around them. I don't do that much sheet metal work to dedicate the floor space. Storing it out of the way would be fine if a heavy pedestal would work.

It doesn't even need that heavy a pedestal if you are working it within its specs; I've done a lot of work with it clamped to the top of a Black&Decker Workmate.

I did most of my work in 16 ga., with a bit of 18 and 14, but with the 16, as long as my workpiece wasn't overly large, I could work well. I've aslo worked with it nailed to a stump and have reduced full sheets to smaller pieces with it on a small piece of plywood on the driveway.
